Dr. Georgios Karanastasis is a board-certified internal medicine physician and founder of IASIS Boutique Health in Orland Park, Illinois. Born on the island of Kos in Greece, he earned his medical degree from the University of Athens and completed his internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in 2008.
During residency, Dr. Karanastasis received the Role Model to Peers and Humanitarian Award in both 2007 and 2008. His clinical interests include preventive care, cardiovascular medicine, congestive heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, and long-term chronic condition management.
